Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO): Trends Challenges and Way Forward
The study initiated under the Research Scheme of Niti Aayog was undertaken by BRIEF. The principal focus of the review study is to create an ecosystem that would bridge the gaps existing in the present MRO industry in India. The study focused –
- To facilitate systemic developments in the MRO sector with the intent to foster growth in line with the policy establishment.
- To identify key aspects governing the sector – including areas such as infrastructure, operations, regulatory aspects, workforce, challenges faced etc.- with a view to outline a comprehensive roadmap entailing suggestive reforms and future projections of the civil aviation sector in India.
