Based on the ?2015 OECD/INFE study for measuring Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion? RBI commissioned the nationwide study in India to assimilate key information about the financial knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of adults, in order to be able to evaluate levels of financial inclusion and indicators of financial well-being of citizens of the country. The objective of the evaluation study was to undertake a holistic survey seeking responses from 20000+ household respondents from all 35 States & UTs using handheld devices.
