]]> The objective of the study was to find out the reasons for lack luster industrial performance in the region and put forward implementable recommendations. ÿThe study looked at the current status of these sectors in the region, potential, ÿidentify causes for non performance, look at entry barriers and thereby arrive at solutions.
Seven sectors (Power, Cement, Textile, Logistics, IT and ITEs, Food Processing and Tourism) were evaluated for the project. Based on the primary survey of these sectors, a sectoral report was prepared and submitted to CII.
