]]> BRIEF conducted the survey in the six states of India across 350 villages. The project’s scope included listing of 35000 farmers in these villages in the initial stages & on the basis of that the sampling exercise was carried out for the final survey. The survey was conducted using PDA (handheld) devices through which the data was transferred onto the IT platform on real time basis. The study was part of the National Food Security Mission and will provide inputs towards the same.
